In depth
Verdict
A competitive handicap hurdle with plenty of the 13 runners having claims. Among those worthy of a mention are the Bill Jenks-trained Rio Tinto, who would appreciate any further rain, Wild Spice from the Venetia Williams stable, Martin Pipe's Treasure Chest, Taunton winner Lets Go Dutch, who fell in better company last time and Kuwait Millennium, who ran much better at Chepstow last month than of late.
