Verdict
Pingaro De La Vire clearly improved for a spell hunting and made a winning return at Towcester, despite taking a while to get on top. He may still be well treated but this is a lot more competitive. ROCKABILLY never got competitive after an early blunder here a month ago but that was his first start over the larger obstacles so progress can be expected and Nigel Twiston-Davies' gelding is taken to atone today. Huntingdon second Overnight Fame also has some scope but The Hudnalls usually needs a run to put him straight and is tackling fences late in life.
