In depth

Verdict

Lady Kk was a bit disappointing reverting to hurdles in the spring but Martha Brae won this last year and is only 4lb higher. Shirocco's Dream is certainly capable of figuring if on a going day and Mulberry Hill is effectively only 2lb higher than when returning to winning ways at Carlisle last month. JERSEY LADY has been rested since disappointing at Worcester in June but won after a break at Hereford last autumn and she’s probably fairly treated on a mark of 105. Flying Nun won at Fontwell and Taunton at the start of the year and The Height Of Fame is on a four-timer, though only dead-heated at Newton Abbot and has gone up 5lb. Russian Rumour and Whisky Express can’t be ignored in an open-looking renewal.
