Verdict

INCENTIVISE won at Bangor and Fontwell in October and stays well. He was far from disgraced in the Welsh National on his penultimate start and can race off his correct mark today so shouldn't be underestimated. He gets the nod though veteran Sea Saffron has always run his best races here and is back in the right grade. Pericoloso needs to do some improving in the jumping department, though did finish ahead of recent Towcester winner Musical Wedge over 3m here in January and is 7lb better off today courtesy of the latter's penalty. Material Boy was raised 10lb after winning easily at Ffos Las but will be a danger to all if in the same mood. However, he made mistakes that day and these fences can be unforgiving if you meet them on the wrong stride.
