In depth

Verdict

Vamizi saves his best for this track and has finished runner-up here three times since winning over 3m last March. He may find one too good again today in the shape of RATE OF KNOTS. The latter hasn't won for some time but is back on a winning mark and his close-up third over this trip at Folkestone last month suggests he's ready to strike. Theophrastus has gone up another 6lb for winning over 3m here a fortnight ago, while Choumakeur is 12lb higher than when scoring at Wincanton on his penultimate start. Priors Glen is running into form and looks to have place claims.
