Verdict
Though Calarules has only won once over hurdles, he’s only had two runs over fences so may have a bit more to offer. Dr Oakley has had just three runs over the larger obstacles and has placed in the last two, albeit at a modest level. Normandy Soldier has more experience and won over course and distance in November but SAN AGUSTIN had plenty in hand at Leicester in December and can defy a 3lb rise if the cheekpieces work a second time.
