Verdict

DESERT SENSATION is 5lb better off than when only fifth behind Court King at Uttoxeter last month. Both have won easily since and are penalised but we fancy the top weight has the greater scope for further progress so he gets the nod this time. Juwireya was only third last time off this mark having won earlier at Stratford while Somerset Lias has been chasing and has yet to win a race of any description. Jack Snipe showed a bit more last time at Newton Abbot but was well behind Replacement Plan at Fontwell in June.
