In depth
Verdict
Headliner cost punters a packet when falling last time, they can get their money back today, Bright Approach and Kelantan look the obvious dangers. Martin Pipe's gelding was moving up nicely when coming down at the fourth from home in the Leicester event won by Meggies's Beau. He had previously accounted for some decent types here and if his confidence hasn't been dented he should be good enough to take first prize here. Bright Approach has done well against much better opposition than today's and should be fighting for a place. Kelantan hit winning form last time at Huntingdon, beating Rakassa by just over a length. That was over three miles so the trip has to be of concern, but nevertheless she should be involved in the finish. Toulouse-Lautrec looks the pick of the others, but Headliner is expected to bounce back and gets our vote
