      Verdict

      Despite a double penalty, the progressive RENE'S GIRL is difficult to oppose in this. She's on a hat-trick after beating subsequent winners at both Warwick and Ludlow before the turn of the year and none of the opposition showed much last time. Eardisland is definitely capable of better, however, while Fizzy Dancer may have benefited from a break since October and has had just the one run over hurdles so far.
