In depth

Verdict

Irish Prophecy is a little one-paced but this testing track will likely play to his strengths. After winning at Market Rasen in July, El Presente couldn’t cope with a 9lb rise on a return visit but should be prominent again here. Stop The World finally won a race at Cartmel last time but this looks a lot tougher with Fontwell scorer Monkey Puzzle having more scope. LARKBARROW LAD faces no easy task tackling the larger obstacles for the first time but he is built to jump fences so it was a bonus that he won twice over timber. Ocean Cove should be winning when given a stamina test this season but may need to drop a few pounds.
