Verdict
LORD NAPIER shoulders top weight but this looks appreciably easier than recent tasks and he did win a Grade 3 handicap over hurdles a couple of years ago racing off a higher mark. Aye Aye Charlie would have every chance on placed runs at Hereford and Newcastle in the autumn but hasn’t looked a natural jumper of fences so far. A similar criticism could be levelled at Larkbarrow Lad but he has had a wind operation since last seen. Zyon was lightly raced over hurdles and would have every chance if taking to chasing so is preferred to the Tizzard pair Rockpoint and Butterwick Brook.
