In depth

Verdict

Waterloo Son looks nicely weighted and can land this handicap with Burren Moonshine and No Way Back posing as his biggest dangers. Waterloo Son won well at Market Rasen mid winter and has since run well. He runs off the same mark as he did when second at Ludlow last time out and if showing the same level of form can win again. Burren Moonshine has no weight on her back and even though she is now running off a seven pound higher mark after her recent win at Perth she has to be very much respected. No Way Back won over a shorter trip here last time out but look vulnerable off a five pound higher mark here. So for the winner we return to Waterloo Son.
