In depth

Verdict

JUST A PAR won between the flags in October and made a winning debut over hurdles at Punchestown for Tom Nagle. He changed hands for a tidy sum afterwards and can make a successful start for Paul Nicholls at the main expense of Kilmurvy, a winner at Taunton in December having shown up well in bumpers previously. Ascot scorer Many Clouds also warrants respect as he was trying to give 10lb to the useful Up And Go at Wetherby last month but Midnight Prayer is upped in grade after beating Ugly Bug by a length-and-a-quarter at Hereford in December, though the runner-up has franked the form since. Stage King and Tolkeins Tango are worth noting for future reference and Catching On is another with scope.
