Verdict
This looks to be a match-up between Vivid Imagination and Santando and the confident vote is given to Santando. The selection was a good second behind Joe Lively last time out, and the form looks solid as that horse has been progressive all season. With improvement likely under conditions that suit he is hard to oppose. Vivid Imagination rates the main danger on his latest second behind Dev but although he travels well in his races he often finds less than expected off the bridle and at the likely odds he is taken on. Classic Clover was tailed off in a race won by Grand Slam Hero last time out but this looks easier, while Otantiqu is sure to have been well schooled for this his chasing debut and he should be watched in the market. But Santando sets a fair standard and he is our idea of the winner.
