Verdict

It's difficult to knock Party Palace, who has won four times since April and continues to defy the handicapper. Staigue Fort beat Bathwick Man at Newton Abbot last month but the latter is slightly better off at the weights here and Emma Lavelle's charge has been well beaten since on softer ground at Stratford. TWELVE ROSES has had a break but looked a progressive sort in the spring and the form of his Towcester win looks solid. He may be capable of holding his own at a higher level and can make a winning return to action.
