In depth

Verdict

This is a competitive opener but SIZING TARA looks worth sticking with, despite further 8lb rise. He has won his last two at Newton Abbot on the bridle and Harry Kimber takes off 10lb. Back On The Lash is having a first run since a good second at Market Rasen in May but has been very lightly raced. Grageelagh Girl reverts to hurdles after failing to score in four runs over fences while Working Class has been in good form since wind surgery, though could have done without a further 3lb rise. Carntop has won three times over hurdles but seems best on flatter tracks. Eclair Des Sablons was improving in the spring but may need this.
