Day's Over is selected in preference to Winsley Hill, Boot 'N Toot and Figurita. The selection has been off the track since failing to finish on her hurdling debut at Wincanton in December. That is hardly an auspicious start but the ground was riding soft that day whereas all her form in bumpers had been on a faster surface and it could just be that she needs this better ground to show her form. Winsley Hill will be fancied to give Neil Mulholland his first winner as a trainer and she can be forgiven her latest hiccup. Her previous performances set the standard in this heat. Figurita has a little to prove following a poor run and has yet to encounter ground as fast as this over obstacles and Boot 'N Toot may prove to be the more solid option as she has run sound races the last twice but we're going to take a chance with Day's Over.
