Verdict

DAN’S CHOSEN beat only a couple of rivals on the good going at Fakenham when winning as he liked. This is a tougher test but Philip Hobbs’ charge looks up to the challenge. The consistent Representing Bob finished runner-up at Uttoxeter on his reappearance when ahead of third-placed Midnight Glance and looks sure to be in the mix once again but Johnny B finished last of three runners at Newton Abbot back in June. William Philo ended last season on the upgrade over hurdles and makes his chasing bow.
