Verdict
Mr Watson scored twice over timber early last year but hasn't shown much over fences and is on a 19lb lower mark though still looks high enough. Speedy Bruere is 2lb lower than his last winning mark and there were signs of a revival last time while Gores Island twice finished runner-up over the course and distance last month and this is a lower class affair. After scoring at Leicester in February, Morgan's Bay was well supported on a return visit but was easily brushed aside by Arkaim while Mic's Delight was beaten a long way when third at Taunton last time. ALLERTON found 3m4f much too far at Stratford but is back on the same mark as when successful at Bangor in November and with Conor Shoemark using his claim Fergal O'Brien's charge is taken to get back on the winning trail.
