Verdict
French Canadian was readily outpointed by Penmore Hill at Fakenham last month but has to go on the short-list here along with Lucette Annie, second to the useful Kirkleigh over course and distance just under a year ago. Euro Farmer and Waldo Pepper were both easy winners between the flags last time and must have some sort of chance but FURMAGIATT beat a useful sort in Rimini at the Spooners And West Dartmoor nine days ago and a repeat of that effort over these stiffer obstacles would put him right in the firing-line. Partnered by the talented Josh Guerriero, he gets the nod.
