Verdict
Owner-rider David Maxwell was on board when Dolphin Square scored over 2m2f here last month. Philip Hobbs' charge had earlier won between the flags so today's trip looks ideal. ASK DILLON won an Ascot maiden over this trip before finding Umbrigado too quick over shorter on this track then was well beaten in the Ballymore at Cheltenham. This is much more his grade and he can return to winning ways. Blackjack Kentucky, a winning point-to-pointer, looked suited to a thorough test of stamina when runner-up over 2m7f at Chepstow and could find the ground a bit lively. Mr Pumblechook looked potentially useful when landing a Plumpton maiden though ran poorly on his latest start at Huntingdon but Boldmere looks a threat as his victory at Market Rasen was followed by a fine run in a Grade 3 handicap at Sandown.
