In depth

Verdict

Dante¿s Back can gain some compensation for his near miss at Cheltenham a fortnight ago and is fancied to have enough in the locker to repel On His Toes and Wendys Dynamo. The last named has been in great heart in point-to-points - no doubt with his confidence boosted after winning at Kilworthy last month. This is a tougher assignment and, as he has limited experience at this level, he is not one to be going overboard with at cramped odds. On His Toes bolted up at Buckfastliegh last time out and is holding his form well. Again his experience of regulation fences is a concern and he is reluctantly passed over on this occasion. This time in favour of Dante¿s Back, who was so close to winning the point-to-point final at Prestbury Park that he has to be given every chance to put the record straight.
