Verdict
Jack Pot II is far from reliable but if he could get round then he could go close, and we will side with him to get his head in front at the main expense of Maldoun and Audiostreetdotcom. The selection has clearly had his problems and he has failed to get round on his last three starts. However, he does have ability and he is more than capable of making a race of this if those problems are now behind him. Maldoun will be suited by the step up in trip after getting outpaced over 2m1f last time, and as he finished strongly behind Desert Spa at Hereford last time, he has to enter calculations here. Audiostreetdotcom is difficult to win with but he ran really well when last seen out behind Inn From The Cold at Carlisle. He gets on well with today's pilot so is certainly one for the shortlist. Star Time is a consistent type and looks capable of taking some place money, but for the winner we will take a chance on Jack Pot II who gets the tentative vote.
