Verdict
The market may provide the biggest clue as to the outcome of this race but without that guide COUSIN KHEE makes plenty of appeal. The son of Sakhee is a half-brother to There And Then, who won a similar event on his debut in the sprint, and Hughie Morrison has scored with two of his three bumper runners here in recent years. The form of the Keith Goldsworthy yard coupled with the promise shown by young Peter Carberry points towards the claims of Direct Flo and the yard operate at a 20% strike-rate in events of this nature, so she's to be respected along with fellow fillies' Ondeafears and Knight Blaze. The latter's stablemate Moon Stream is out of a winning hurdler, Present Accepted should relish conditions and Firescent's half-brother Scandal won over this trip on his debut, so again all are considered.
