Verdict

QUALANDO was headed right on the line over 2m1f at this track last month. This step up in trip should be ideal and Paul Nicholls' French import can recoup losses aided by his weight-for-age allowance. Colin Tizzard runs three with Brendan Powell riding penalised Fontwell winner Wizards Bridge while Jonjo O'Neill has two entries. A P McCoy partners Chepstow runner-up Wait A Second so he's worth a second look and Gold Present, second in a decent Ascot bumper in November, is sure to have been well schooled.
