Verdict
The usual bumper betting pointers apply here, so check out the market for clues and have a good look at the stables that do well in these contests, and having done all of that the pin comes down on TETLAMI. Nicky Henderson's only runner at the track today, this Daylami gelding is the son of a 10f all weather-winning mare, whose granddam, Sutton Place, won the Coronation Stakes. This trip should be ideal for starters and with good ground a plus, he can probably show too much speed for them. Skeemah is an interesting runner for Hughie Morrison, who does well on his raids under rules, and this Sakhee colt is a half brother to a 12f winner at three and is likely to make his presence felt. Karasenir is related to some useful sorts and represents the powerful Hobbs yard, although they have had just one winner from 12 runners here over the past five seasons. Smart Freddy looks likely to make a nice chaser in time, but for today we'll side with Tetlami.
