Verdict

Kitty's Light has taken well to fences and Sizing At Midnight has returned in fine form and goes for the hat-trick, though has been raised a further 9lb. Commodore Barry finished second over course and distance around this time last year and his run at Bangor was too bad to be true. He’ll strip fitter today but it would be disappointing if FLYING VERSE had to head into winter without a victory and he was in the firing-line when hampered and unseating his rider in the straight at Wincanton last time. Winter Getaway ran well on his chasing bow at Uttoxeter but his jumping fell apart at Newton Abbot subsequently.
