Verdict
JOKER DE MAI (NAP) won twice over fences in France and was having only his second start for Harry Derham when impressing at Lingfield last week. He has been raised 10lb but comes here with a 7lb penalty so can go in again. Quinta Do Mar, four-times a winner over hurdles, was racing over fences earlier this year and may just need this but Molly Ollys Wishes, a seven-times winning hurdler, has mainly raced at a higher level and was attempting to concede 12lb to the winner at Wetherby. Issam won here in March and was in the lead at this trip before fading when tackling 2m4f at Sandown last month. Imperial Bede steps up in trip but looks as though he will be suited while the consistent Hasty Parisian was challenging when falling two out at Newton Abbot.
