In depth

Verdict

James Eustace doesn't have many hurdlers but has a fair chance here via the lightly-raced Torran Sound, a winner on fast ground at Market Rasen in June and at the right end of the weights. Mauricetheathlete enjoyed the real stamina test when scoring over 3m4f at Sedgefield and this shorter trip and faster going may not play to his strengths. FLYING AWARD had shown nothing before running out a comfortable winner at Newton Abbot on Sunday and a 7lb penalty is unlikely to prevent another success with Lucy Gardner able to use her claim. Bounds And Leaps has been consistent in his three starts over timber and the better ground today will be a bonus as it should be for Rockabilly, who makes his handicap debut after three runs on testing going.
