In depth
Verdict
Several of these come in to the race in good heart after wins in the point-to-point division not least of which is Charlie Strong after winning his last two starts and also boasts a course and distance victory last season. The nine-year-old will prove hard to beat even though he has a little to find with Noyan strictly at the weights. The latter is getting to the veteran stage of his career and has proved too headstrong for his own good in recent outings. Team Captain was an impressive scorer at Wincanton last month and was far from disgraced next time but may have to settle for a place while Epsilo De La Ronce looks anchored under his double penalty.
