Verdict
Equilibria deserves to get his head in front having been placed in each of his last three starts but Gary Moore's gelding may have to settle for a minor role again, while Royal Prodigy has more to do than when successful at Fontwell last time and preference is for Mickmacmagoole. The selection looked a likely winner on his first start for Evan Williams at Warwick on Wednesday until collared late on by Mendosino. The shorter trip here should suit the son of Sadler's Wells and the five-year-old is taken to gain ample compensation today. Tom George's Thenameescapesme has been thereabouts of late and should be again today but he may once more have to settle for minor honours. Oiseau de Nuit is less exposed than most of these but needs to improve on all known form and a safer bet looks to be Mickmacmagoole who gets the vote.
