Verdict

KOOTENAY RIVER was sold for £80,000 after hacking up in a maiden open between the flags under Tommie O’Brien. He’s now with Alan King so should have a future under Rules. The Roestone and Control Me have also won their only start so far on the point-to-point circuit but Billygwyn Too and Clondaw Bunny appear to have similar form. Doctor Wong should be capable of better and Noel George is good value for his 5lb claim.
