In depth
Verdict
The Kid won over staying trips on the Flat and has shown enough to suggest he can figure in a race like this. But Alex Dunn’s charge has to give 8lb to WONGA SWINGER (NAP) so we’ll stick with the recent easy Plumpton winner with Charlie Deutsch’s claim helping offset a 7lb rise. Only A Tipple has travelled down from Cheshire but he probably needs some help from the handicapper if he’s going to get his head in front.
