Verdict
Impulsive Star is a lightly-raced staying hurdler who won here in February and started favourite for the Pertemps at Cheltenham. FLINTHAM (NAP) didn't win in four starts over fences last season but his short-head defeat by Bigbadjohn in the Grade 2 Reynoldstown at Ascot is the best chasing form on view. Duel At Dawn couldn't get to Knight Of Noir on his chasing bow at Chepstow but is certain to have benefited from the run but Brelan D'as was a bit disappointing on his first start over fences at Ffos Las and will need to do better.
