      Verdict

      Mother Meldrum won quite easily dropped into a seller for the first time here last week but that was on good ground and today's surface poses a different set of problems. Dainty Diva has a terrific chance at the weights but she's rather lost her way and Romeo Is Bleeding was beaten more than six lengthy behind Apache Outlaw at Taunton at the start of the month, though is 5lb better off. UPTON WOOD's second in a handicap here last time hasn't worked out but it's coming round to his time of year again so he gets a tentative vote.
