Verdict

FOR 'N' AGAINST stepped up in trip at Huntingdon last time and produced his best run to date. He's still progressing and looks the one to be on though Legion D'Honneur, who usually runs well here, looks a danger even though he doesn't win often. River Dancing was having his 13th career start when landing a gamble at Taunton last week. He has a penalty to contend with but if in the same kind of mood has to be a threat to all. Young Cheddar is still a maiden despite coming in for strong support at Uttoxeter last time and though Lamblord won here on New Year's Day it was over a much shorter trip. Xaarcet completed a hat-trick at this time two years ago though all of those victories came on heavy going.
