Verdict

Not one favourite has won this in the past 13 years and there have been some huge shocks. It's impossible to tell what will be market leader this time but Magnanimity will attract some support despite pulling up in this a year ago as he looked back to form at Clonmel last time. Muirhead has a chance at the weights as he generally competes at a high level but it's ROMANESCO who gets the nod as his run behind the well-handicapped Colbert Station in the Paddy Power at Leopardstown points to his chances. Competitive Edge is in cracking form and AP McCoy was on board when he scored at Leopardstown in January while the likes of Rich Revival, Marasonnien and Sweeney Tunes should be considered in one of the most competitive races of the season.
