Spirit Of Legend looked in need of a thorough test of stamina when getting up close home over this trip at Navan for which he's penalised. LANDRAKE looked suited by testing ground in a Wexford bumper then when scoring over this trip on his hurdles debut at Clonmel. He gets the nod though stablemate The Four Sixes also made a winning start over timber on the same track though that was over an extended 2m. Derrylinda was thought good enough to run in a Grade 1 here in April and made a convincing reappearance at Cork while Doviator followed his Down Royal victory with a narrow defeat by Salvador Ziggy, who then completed a four-timer, at Roscommon. Changing The Rules looks the type to improve massively this season.
