Verdict

Silk Cravat showed promise for Simon Crisford last season but has failed to fire in two starts for Ger Lyons. Barca cost $900,000 though has shown nothing in his two runs but Mirror Man's second to Ma Fee Heela at Dundalk has worked out quite well. Araca made a promising start at the Curragh but ran poorly on soft ground at Gowran next time while Presidential, Perfect Soldier and Dreaming Of Gold all ran over 6f here last month with the former pair staying on nicely. NEW TERMS looked a certain future winner when narrowly beaten by Elegant Pose at the Curragh and started odds-on at Listowel but nothing went right for her in the race and compensation awaits.
