In depth

Verdict

After scoring over 2m5f here on heavy ground in February, KIMBERLITE KING appeared to find three miles stretching his stamina at Navan and was heavily eased once his chance had gone. This should be more to his liking. Useful point-to-pointer Tullintain was well beaten in a hunter chase last time and looks high in the weights but Silent Creek deserves his place at the head of affairs as he jumped superbly on his chasing bow at Limerick last month. Barcardero is 15lbs higher than when successful at Down Royal in December and is struggling to cope but Major Glendenning gets a fair chance to finally lose his maiden tag in conditions that will suit.
