      In depth

      Verdict

Although Slope finished runner-up on her debut at the Curragh, she was still 9l behind the winner Move To Strike and will need to do better. Angela's Dream, just touched off on her debut at Dundalk, had no answer to Cougar Ridge at Leopardstown but the winner is quite useful and the remainder were well beaten. DELIGHT obviously learnt plenty from her Naas debut and ran very well behind Nandinga at the Curragh when Calissa was well behind. Further progress looks guaranteed and Aidan O'Brien's filly should take this. Lottie Dod has been running quite well and looks a nice type for nurseries while newcomers Tobann, a daughter of Teofilio out of a 7f winner, and the Haatef filly Nabat Ali are ones to note for the future.
