In depth

Verdict

Big Ben, a half-brother to the brilliant Attraction, wouldn't have been expected to be racing over hurdles this early, especially after landing a Curragh maiden in August on just his second start. He could be a smart prospect for jumping and the son of Galileo should make a bold bid but the overall form of stable companion LANDOFHOPEANDGLORY may prove too much for him. He hasn't won since making a successful debut over a mile at Galway last August but has been mixing it in very strong company and has been placed several times. Skeaping gained his first-ever victory when landing a Windsor claimer for Richard Hannon last month and has joined Gordon Elliott while Long Call is now with Tony Martin after showing improved form in the UK, though only in moderate company. Aa Bee See won a poor handicap at Sligo on heavy ground and should do better when the going eases.
