In depth

Verdict

Kaitlins Joy was engaged at Gowran last night but will need to have made progress in this much tougher line-up. Worldly Wise won nicely at Tipperary but some rain would help his cause and Bravely Fought has plenty to do conceding weight to some very promising three-year-olds. They include the Ballydoyle filly Catchafallingstar, who still lacked experience when scoring at Limerick, Buy Back Bob, who won more easily than the narrow verdict over Mister Carter at Navan suggests, and Alamshar's half-brother AKZAR, who gets the vote after landing what looked a competitive maiden from Be My Storm at the Curragh and has entries in Group races next month.
