In depth

Verdict

Hang Up My Boots won a point-to-point on ground with some give and his two runs over hurdles have both been in fast conditions so improvement can be expected. Kennoway probably found 2m4f too far when attempting to make all in the race won by Vesper Bell here last month and can do better while Primroseandblue, a bumper winner at Gowran in December, will have learnt from the experience gained when runner-up to Snow Spell on his hurdling debut there last month. Cork bumper winner VALLEYMOUNT competed at a high level before making a very promising debut over timber behind Mickelson and a subsequent winner over this C&D last month and her allowances will make her very difficult to beat with that under her belt.
