Verdict

MOST GIFTED landed a Cork maiden before tackling the 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh where she was by no means disgraced. This is a huge drop in class which she can take in her stride. Belle Boyd will be no pushover as she's been placed twice at Listed level, the latest after a long lay-off. Surrounding was just behind her at Dundalk in October and there's very little between the pair but Santorini Sun, a winner for Mick Channon on her debut at Sandown in August, hasn't shown much subsequently. Gasta ran in strong company last season after making a successful start at the Curragh but hasn't made the expected progress.
