In depth
Verdict
Having reappeared with a comfortable victory in a Grade 2 at Clonmel, Tranquil Sea has a fitness advantage over COOLDINE but was over five lengths behind when both ran in the Punchestown Guinness Gold Cup in April and Willie Mullins' charge looks good enough to take this on his reappearance, as he usually goes well fresh. Mullins also runs the exciting J'y Vole, who also ran in that Punchestown Grade 1 and was still in touch when unseating her rider five out. Glencove Marina is going from strength-to-strength but will need to make further progress to beat the principals in what should be a fascinating and informative contest.
