In depth

Verdict

It's All A Joke hasn't won since Lingfield early last year but has dropped to a lowly mark as a consequence and didn't get the best of runs when supported at Navan last week. Plough Boy, who has amassed 14 victories, ran well at the same fixture and can never be ruled out. Beleaguerment scored at Dundalk in January and very nearly conceded a stone to Truebo back there in March though he hasn't done as well on Turf. His stable companion Tanseeq, a dual winner for William Haggas, was on his lowest ever mark when a close fourth at Dundalk in March and can go well despite a big weight. NOIRVENTO beat a huge field in a 6f handicap at Cork last summer and continued to run well, ending the year with a very good run over this trip at Dundalk. In the hope he's ready after a long break he gets the vote though the lightly-raced Earls is one for market watchers.
