Verdict
LORD SCOUNDREL has done nothing wrong and gets the vote to get off the mark. Beaten by a useful winner in Royal Caviar here in November, he was a bit outpaced by Chancol at Navan and could probably do with further but looks to have a good opportunity. Those rivals with experience look a moderate bunch so newcomers Most Peculiar and Wildebeest should provide the main threat though the former's pedigree is nothing special. The latter hails from a smart family of jumpers and could provide the main danger under Nina Carberry. Captain Hox is nothing special but was due to run at Naas yesterday.
