Verdict

PRESWELL LAD doesn't win very often but is running well enough to gain his second success over timber. He scored over fences at Tramore before a fine effort over hurdles here when runner-up to Miss Xian and can go one better. Caballo De Marcus produced a much-improved effort when runner-up in a Limerick maiden last time but hasn't been done any favours for his handicap debut. Get Off The Stage has threatened to win a race on a few occasions without actually getting there but Shattered Dream hasn't shown enough in maidens to suggest he can make a winning handicap debut.
