FEDERICI is better known as a staying chaser these days, emphasised by his victory over 3m4f over fences at Downpatrick last month. He reverts to hurdles on a 21lb lower mark and looks the one to be on. Toon River is another chaser reverting to hurdles on a much lower mark. He won a Gowran handicap on heavy going early last month before finishing runner-up in a Grade 3 at Cork. Goulane Davina stepped up to 2m3f on heavy ground in a Cork maiden last month and came home virtually alone. She's obviously progressing fast and makes her handicap debut on what may prove a lenient mark. Midnight Theatre had been beaten at short odds before gaining compensation in a maiden at Downpatrick last month and now she's struck winning form should continue to make progress.
